What is a Smart Classroom?

A smart classroom is to deploy IT equipment, digital audio and video equipment, teacher-student interactive equipment, and relative application software in the traditional classroom, so as to enrich the teaching means and improve the teaching effect. The teaching content can be shared not only on campus but also across the country online.

The main systems or equipment integrated into the Smart Classroom

  • 1. vCloudPoint zero client computing system

    To replace the traditional students’ PCs, vCloudPoint zero client computing system consists of 1 host PC or server plus multiple zero clients which allows those students to access the host PC or server to obtain their desktops respectively. The students will work independently but have the same operating system and applications installed on the shared host.

  • 2. Teacher’s PC + High-speed Photographic Apparatus

    The High-speed Photographic Apparatus can capture the video that the teacher wants to show, for example, his textbook, and then broadcast it to all the students’ desktop through vCloudPoint software.

  • 3.Recording System

    It will capture the complete video and audio of teaching in the classroom and store it in the server of recording or release it online instantly.

  • 4.Interactive All-in-One Smart Board (Optional)

    It’s actually a large-size All-in-One PC with a touch screen function. With the interactive application installed on the smartboard and the iPads or mobile phones of the students, the teacher can interact with the students.

    Ordinary classroom + 01 + 02, that is, vCloudPoint zero client computing system plus Teacher’s PC (optional). This version is a computer lab.

  • Standard version

    Ordinary classroom + 01 + 02, that is, vCloudPoint zero client computing system plus Teacher’s PC + High-speed Photographic Apparatus.

  • Professional version

    Ordinary classroom + 01 + 02, that is, vCloudPoint zero client computing system plus Teacher’s PC + High-speed Photographic Apparatus plus Recording system.
